Attending SiGMA Eurasia 2025 was not just another event on our calendar—it marked a significant milestone as our first major conference. As a team, we entered this experience with high expectations, knowing it would be a pivotal moment in shaping our future approach to events and branding. Looking back, we can confidently say that this experience provided us with key insights that will not only influence how we approach future conferences, but also how we work as a team and connect with our audience.

After reflecting on our time at Sigma, there are three core takeaways that stood out—insights that have reshaped our understanding of what conferences can achieve, and how they can be leveraged for long-term success.

1. First Impressions Are Crucial—And They Last

One of the most striking lessons from our debut at Sigma is just how important first impressions are. In a crowded conference hall with hundreds of brands competing for attention, it’s easy to get lost in the noise. But we quickly realized that how you present yourself in those initial moments is what sets the tone for everything that follows.

Our booth was designed with this in mind. We opted for a high stand that was visible from a distance, ensuring that we stood out in the sea of exhibitors. The Twitch banner, while simple, became an instant conversation piece—drawing people in even before they were fully aware of what we were offering.

But it wasn’t just the physical presence that mattered. Our team—dressed in branded shirts—was immediately approachable, making it easy for attendees to identify us. We learned that creating strong visibility and being ready to engage at any moment can make all the difference in creating lasting connections.

This event reaffirmed that the first few seconds of an interaction are critical. They’re the foundation upon which relationships are built. If you fail to capture attention at the outset, you risk losing the opportunity entirely.

2. Teamwork Is the Heartbeat of Success

If there’s one thing we took away from this experience, it’s that no one can do it alone—especially not at a conference. What made our participation at Sigma truly successful was the unity of our team.

We were all pulling in the same direction, even when the unexpected happened. Whether it was handling impromptu interviews with the press or managing last-minute logistics, each of us was fully engaged in the process. This level of synchronization ensured that our booth was always buzzing with energy, and our team was always present and engaged, leading to the acquisition of over 400 valuable contacts—each one presenting a unique opportunity for future collaborations, partnerships, and business growth.

A key figure in this success was our CEO, Leonid Pudov, who played an instrumental role in our presence at the conference. His keynote speech at SiGMA captured the audience’s attention, offering valuable insights into the role of analytics in enhancing the effectiveness of display ads campaigns. Leonid’s thought leadership strengthened our brand and elevated our visibility among key stakeholders at the event.

3. In-Person Conferences Are More Relevant Than Ever

One of the most surprising insights we gained from SiGMA was how powerful in-person conferences still are, even in the aftermath of the pandemic. While we’ve all adapted to virtual and hybrid events over the past few years, SiGMA Eurasia demonstrated that the value of face-to-face interactions remains unmatched.

The energy on the conference floor was palpable. Attendees were not just there to browse; they were eager to engage, learn, and form meaningful connections. iGaming and fintech professionals filled the halls, eager to network, explore partnerships, and discover new opportunities. We were amazed by the genuine interest in our booth and the number of in-depth conversations we had with potential clients and collaborators.

It became clear that conferences are not just about showcasing your brand—they’re about building trust. In-person interactions allow you to forge connections in ways that digital channels simply cannot replicate. The nuances of body language, the immediacy of face-to-face conversations, and the shared experience of being in the same room together make a significant difference in establishing lasting relationships.

This event reinforced something we’d suspected: Conferences are not a thing of the past—they are essential for the future of business. We’re already planning our next moves with this in mind, knowing that these gatherings are key to not only strengthening existing relationships but also forming new, meaningful ones.

Looking Ahead: Applying What We’ve Learned

As we reflect on our first SiGMA experience, we’re taking away more than just new business contacts and marketing strategies. We’re carrying with us valuable lessons that will guide how we approach future events.

We’re excited for what the future holds and look forward to continuing this journey. We’ll be attending more events, strengthening relationships, and expanding our presence—both online and offline.

We also had a team of photographers with us, capturing all the best moments, and we’re happy to share professional photos with you.
